Created in 2023 by Ana Parejo Belando and Hortense Airault, Duo Imminent is a project of improvisation and collaborative composition combining cello, saxophone, voice, and electronics. Both artists share an interest in the exploration of sound, corporeality, and artistic creation.

Duo Imminent has performed at the POTE Festival (November 2025), the Darmstädter Ferienkurse (Darmstadt, July 2025), the Archipel Festival (Geneva, April 2024 and 2025), Kulturesk – Festival der Künste (Bern, April 2025), the Playtime Festival (Bern, January and May 2025), and the Mixtur Festival (Barcelona, September 2024).

The musicians work in close collaboration with David Poissonnier (sound diffusion and electronic presence within the group) and benefit from the guidance of Luis Naón, Joshua Hyde, Gilbert Nouno, Simon Steen-Andersen, Angela Koerfer-Bürger, Franziska Baumann, and Marie-Bernadette Charrier.

Duo Imminent creates multidimensional artistic experiences that challenge conventions and invite audiences into a deep sensory and conceptual reflection.
